Superstar Rajinikanth made a quick visit to Delhi on Wednesday. His trip to the national capital holds significance in light of the recently announced Lok Sabha election results. Upon returning to Chennai, he briefly commented on the election outcomes.

He congratulated Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on sweeping all Lok Sabha seats in the state. He also praised his "dear friend" Chandrababu Naidu for his landslide victory in the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections. Additionally, he extended his wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA alliance. "At the Centre, the NDA is going to form the government for the third time. And Honorable Modi is going to take oath as prime minister for the third time. I also extended my wishes to him," said Rajinikanth.

When asked about attending Modi's swearing-in ceremony, he stated that it has not been decided yet. Rajinikanth's close association with Modi is no secret, as he has attended several significant events arranged by Modi during his previous two tenures. Earlier this year, Rajinikanth was among a group of high-profile guests who attended the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Rajinikanth's visit to Delhi has raised eyebrows and sparked speculation about his potential role in the formation of the central government. The BJP government failed to secure the simple majority needed to form the government independently. However, Modi's third term as prime minister depends on Chandrababu Naidu's willingness to support him.

Rajinikanth, however, declined further questions from the media on politics. Throughout the Indian elections, he has been extra cautious and avoided making any statements that could carry political implications.

Rajinikanth recently returned from a trip to the Himalayas. On June 10, he is expected to commence shooting for director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie.
