Ranveer Singh set the mood right at Anant Ambani’s baraat on July 12 by shaking his leg to Hindi songs. The actor did not disappoint even at Anant’s haldi ceremony where singer Rahul Vaidya held a private concert. Now, sharing a video from Anant’s haldi ceremony, Rahul talked about his experience of making Ranveer sing a Sindhi song and praised Anant for being a generous host.

Taking to Instagram, Rahul shared a video of himself performing at the haldi ceremony of Anant Ambani. The video begins with Rahul making Ranveer Singh sing the Sindhi song Lal Meri Pat Rakhiyo Bhala Jhoole Lalan even as the actor was completely drenched in haldi. Speaking about the experience, Rahul wrote, “When Ranveer BABA sang the sindhi anthem & set the mood.” For those unaware, Ranveer Singh’s real name is Ranveer Singh Bhavnani and is of Sindhi descent.
When Akash applied haldi on Rahul Vaidya
Later, the video shows Anant’s elder brother Akash Ambani applying haldi on the singer’s face. Expressing admiration, Rahul wrote, “And Akash Ambani bhai is the sweetest host and human being aapne meri shaadi ke baad haldi lagai.”
The video also shows Akash applying haldi on legendary singer Udit Narayan who was performing on the stage with Rahul. Speaking about performing with Udit Narayan, Rahul wrote, “Along with the dearest & most lovely @parthivgohil9 bhai. And Sharing Stage with the living legend Udit ji was such an honour.”
Who wore what
In the video, Rahul looked dapper in a bright red three-piece suit, styled with black shoes and a sleek hairdo. Ranveer Singh looked cool in a yellow kurta, paired with white pajama pants, black shoes and a small ponytail. Aakash coordinated with the yellow theme of the haldi ceremony and opted for a yellow kurta, paired with white pants. Udit Narayan, on the other hand, looked stunning in a shimmering purple sherwani, styled with white pants and black shoes.
Anant Ambani tied the knot with Radhika Merchant on July 12 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
