Raayan audio launch details: Date, venue, and viewing information for Dhanush's event
The details for the highly anticipated audio launch of Raayan, starring Dhanush, have been revealed.

Sun Pictures on Thursday confirmed the audio release date for its upcoming movie, Raayan. Starring Dhanush in the lead role, the film is set to hit the screens during the last week of July.
With just a few weeks left for the film's release, the producers have begun promotions. The Raayan audio launch will take place at Sriram Engineering College in Chennai on July 6.
Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman has scored Raayan. He is also expected to give a live performance of a few of his compositions for Raayan during the audio launch event.
The Raayan audio launch event will not be available for live viewing via the Internet or broadcast for remote audiences. The event will be telecast on Sun TV closer to the movie's release.
One of the novelties of Raayan's music album is Gana Kadhar. Dhanush conducted auditions across Chennai to select a talent who was versatile in 'Madras Bashai,' a hybrid Tamil language that generously borrows words from various languages around the world. Gana Kadhar is a painter by profession but has a talent for writing and singing 'gana' songs.
Gana Kadhar has written the "Water Packet" song for Raayan. The peppy romantic number, sung by composer Santhosh Narayanan and Shweta Mohan, is already a big hit with audiences.
Raayan is Dhanush's 50th film, making it a milestone in his career. Besides playing the lead role, Dhanush has also written and directed it. The teaser posters suggest that Raayan is an intense action drama revolving around three brothers living in Vada Chennai.
Besides Dhanush, Raayan also stars S. J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Dushara Vijayan, among others.
Raayan is due in cinemas on July 26.
