Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu on her grandchild: ‘All I think about is the little one’

When American singer Nick Jonas tied the nuptial knot with global icon Priyanka Chopra back in 2018, their wedding pictures filled our hearts with love. Fans were ecstatic with the news and wished them all the happiness in the world. Well, this joy was doubled earlier this year when the happily married couple announced that they have been blessed with their first child via surrogacy. While they did not reveal the gender of their firstborn, reports suggested that they welcomed a baby girl into their family.

Well, in a recent chat with ETimes, PeeCee’s mother Madhu Chopra was asked how the actress has been settling into motherhood. She replied, “I haven't seen her. I am here and she is in LA. We do Facetime once in a while. I think she is happy and joyous. This is all I can say for now. But maybe when I go and meet her in the middle of the year, I will be able to answer this better.” Madhu also shared that she is always hoping for Nick and Priyanka to visit India.

Talking about becoming a grandmother, Madhu stated, “It's so joyful! I can't tell you how my heart just goes...I think it's something that I have been waiting for a very long time. It has happened now and I cannot conceal my happiness. I don't even remember Priyanka and my son anymore. All I think about is the little one.” Isn’t that sweet?

Meanwhile on the work front, Priyanka co-hosted a pre-Oscars bash in Beverly Hills last week.
