Priyanka Chopra's cousin Meera Chopra ties the knot with Rakshit Kejriwal, shares dreamy pictures from the wedding

Priyanka Chopra’s cousin and actress Meera Chopra tied the knot with businessman Rakshit Kejriwal on Tuesday (March 12) in an intimate ceremony in Jaipur. She took to her social media handle to share some dreamy pictures from the ceremony. The bride opted for a lavish Sabyasachi bright red lehenga for the ceremony.

She shared the first picture from her Varmala ceremony wherein Rakshit can be seen putting the Varmala over her head. The actress shared another candid picture from the ceremony wherein she looks every bit the beautiful bride. We also get a close look at her Chooda and the traditional accessories. The Section 375 actress could be seen walking down the aisle in a picture. In the last picture, the bride and groom can be seen holding hands after their wedding. Take a look at the same.

Meera captioned the same stating, “Forever now in happiness, fights, laughter, tears, and a lifetime of memories. Har Janam Tere Sath. #MeRa.” Celebs like Freddy Daruwala, Barkha Sengupta, and others congratulated her in the comments. Talking about the groom, Rakshi had opted for a pristine white sherwani.

The 1920 London actress had kept her personal life under wraps but a source close to the actress had informed Hindustan Times that she had been in a relationship with Rakshit for over three years. The couple celebrated their Mehedi, Haldi, and Sangeet ceremony on March 11 (Monday). The ceremony occurred at the lavish Buena Vista Luxury Garden Spa Resort on the Jaipur-Delhi highway.

In an earlier interview with the publication in January, Meera revealed that she was searching for the perfect location for her wedding. She also said that it was all about finding the right person for her to enter marital bliss. Chopra said, “There was never an intention of keeping my wedding a hush-hush affair. I don’t see any reason as to why I should not talk about it and why should I hide it? I am happy about it and I want to tell the whole world about it. It is about finding the right person, and right time, and that is the case for me.” On the work front, she was last seen in the movie Safed.
