Priyanka Chopra poses for a selfie with Madhur Bhandarkar; fans demand Fashion 2 with her

Even though it’s been a while that the ‘realistic’ filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar had a mainstream Bollywood commercial film releasing on the silver screen. The man, who literally ruled the genre of ‘realistic filmmaking’ in the nineties, had two of his films (Babli Bouncer and India Lockdown) released a couple of years back. These two films were released on OTT platforms. Despite all that, the prolific filmmaker will always be remembered as the man who made fashion, a film that gave the much-needed insight into the glitzy world of fashion and entertainment.

Today, Madhur Bhandarkar took to social media and posted a selfie with none other than Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who, incidentally, happened to be one of the heroines in the film Fashion. He posted the pic and also gave an apt caption to the same.

In no time after Madhur uploaded the said post, there were many fans and followers who jumped onto the comments section and poured out their ‘sentiments’ after seeing the pic of Priyanka Chopra and Madhur Bhandarkar.

For the unversed, the film Fashion was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and was jointly produced by Madhur Bhandarkar and Ronnie Screwvala. The film starred an ensemble cast of Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse, Arjan Bajwa, Samir Soni and Arbaaz Khan in the leading roles. In the film, Priyanka Chopra played the extremely memorable role of Meghna Mathur, a small-town girl who becomes a successful model.
