Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman on Wednesday unveiled the title of his upcoming movie, which will star Prabhudheva in the lead role. The film has been titled Moon Walk, which seems like a nod to pop music icon Michael Jackson.

The title poster features a sketch of Prabhudheva sporting a fedora hat, one of Michael Jackson's signature accessories. The King of Pop is an inspiration for both Rahman and Prabhudheva. It seems the duo's Moon Walk will be a tribute to the legendary musician in more than one way.

"We both are big fans of Michael Jackson and so we connect on different levels. We both did an event with Michael Jackson in Munich," said Rahman earlier.

Rahman also noted that he turns to Michael Jackson's music to revitalize his spirits and emotional energy whenever he feels down. He described MJ's music as an "energy drink."

Moon Walk is a special film for Rahman as he collaborates with Prabhudheva, whom he considers a "world-class talent." Prabhudheva, who is celebrated as India's own Michael Jackson, has not worked with Rahman in the last 25 years. The last film that the duo was associated with was Minsara Kanavu. The 1997 movie was a musical hit, and Prabhudheva's dance performances were one of the major highlights of the romantic drama.

"I personally wish we had spent more time jamming and doing more things. I think all these thoughts finally culminated in this movie," Rahman said, expressing his joy over the opportunity to work with Prabhudheva more than two decades later.

Moon Walk is expected to be high on music and dance. The film's director, Manoj NS, claimed that his intention behind making this film was to experience the magic that happens when Rahman and Prabhudheva work together. Besides Prabhudheva, the film also stars Babu, Aju Varghese, and Arjun Ashokhan.
