Fans were definitely surprised today to witness actress Mahima Chaudhry unveil her first look as late writer and cultural activist Pupul Jayakar from the Kangana Ranaut starrer Emergency . Talking about Pupul Jayakar, the late writer and cultural activist was a friend and biographer of the Nehru-Gandhi family. She was a very close friend to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi which will be essayed by Kangana Ranaut in Emergency. Jayakar also served as a cultural advisor to both Indira Gandhi and her son Rajiv Gandhi. The movie will be helmed by Kangana and also stars Anupam Kher and Shreyas Talpade in the lead roles.
