Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba OTT release: Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey’s film to stream on Netflix from this date

Taapsee Pannu has proved her acting prowess with films like Pink, Thappad, and Badla, among others. The actress featured in the 2021 released film Haseen Dillruba, the success of which compelled the makers to work on a sequel film. Now, the makers of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba have unveiled the release date of the sequel.

Taking to Instagram, the makers of Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba shared an animated motion poster of the film unveiling the release date of the film. The caption states, “9 August ki Hasseen shaam, Dillruba ke naam. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, is out on 9 August, only on Netflix.”

The video begins with the song Ek Hassena Thi in the background. Later, Taapsee says, “9 August ko tapkega khoon, aayega katilana monsoon (Blood will shed on August 9 when there will be a thunderous monsoon). The words are also written on the book that Taapsee is seen reading in the video.

Then Vikrant Massey says, “9 August ki haseen raat Dillruba ke sath (Spend the night of 9 August with Dillruba).” These words are also written on the cover of the book that Vikrant is reading and he has a stern expression.

The video reveals a new character that the film will introduce. Sunny Kaushal begins his voiceover with, “9 August ko dil pighlenge, ishq ka zeher niglenge (Hearts will melt and the poison of love will be swallowed on 9 August).” Sunny has a mischievous look on his face, indicating that he will bring chaos to the world of Rani (Taapsee) and Rishu (Vikrant).

For those unaware, Taapsee and Vikrant starred in the 2021 released film Haseen Dillruba directed by Vinil Mathew. The film also starred Harshvardhan Rane and portrayed a love triangle between a wife, her husband, and his cousin brother.

Now, the makers of Hassen Dillruba are back with its sequel film starring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. Helmed by Jayprad Desai, the film will premiere on August 9 on Netflix.
