The Dhaakad actress trained guns at him for shamelessly flashing his privileges while sharing her struggles to get unbiased reviews.
Kangana Ranaut is unstoppable when it comes to slamming filmmaker Karan Johar. In her latest post, she shared a throwback video in which the filmmaker shared his views on critic ratings. He had stated that even before the films get released, the sheets of ratings are ready. The Dhaakad actress trained guns at him for shamelessly flashing his privileges while sharing her struggles to get unbiased reviews.
Kangana wrote, “Mr Johar this was not the purpose of critics rating, it was supposed to establish the authentic worth of a product so people can decide whether or not to invest in it… it is not for you to put a price tag on and buy every single star that is there...And please know everyone don’t have this privilege of having the sheet of stars even before the film releases…People like us struggle to get unbiased reviews because media fears that you will ban them …(sic).”
She further added, “You have been gifted an empire by your father people like us start from scratch put our own houses on the mortgage even to direct a moderate budget film even after giving blockbuster as previous directorial…So please understand this kind of shameless flashing of your privileges and wrong doings makes you look bad.” Netizens criticised her negative attitude in the comment section. “You started again..I have seen the movie and I just loved it. I am a fan of urs..why don’t you make such movies now days..all your movies are big flops. Do you know why..because of this attitude,” wrote one of the users. Another commented, “Kangana, I genuinely think you’re spending too much of your time and energy in criticising KJo… you’re a smart strong woman, we expect more depth from your end. Makes no sense why to spend time on thrashing someone.”
Kangana earlier bashed Karan’s latest release Rocky Aur Rani Kii Kahaani by calling it a daily soap. She also advised him to stop wasting funds and retire so that young filmmakers get a chance to make revolutionary films. Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress is geared up for the release of her upcoming political drama, Emergency, in which she plays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
