Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha Wedding: Their first picture as Mr and Mrs Chadha is out

Actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha are officially man and wife now. The couple tied the knot in a lavish yet intimate wedding ceremony on September 24, 2023, in Udaipur. The first picture of the couple after the wedding has gone viral in no time. The photo features Parineeti in a sequined pink saree as she poses with her husband Raghav by her side. She is seen with sindoor on her forehead. Raghav is seen dressed in a black tuxedo.

The couple tied the knot at Leela Palace in the presence of family and friends. The groom arrived in a boat for Baraat from the iconic Lake Palace to the Leela Palace for Jaimala. The Kabira song from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani played at the bride’s vidaai. Punjabi cuisine dominated the food menu, while decoration featured a floral arc with a hint of foliage.

While Priyanka Chopra Jonas couldn’t make it to her cousin’s festivities, her mother Madhu Chopra graced the wedding. Political figures including Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal were in attendance. Manisha Malhotra, Sania Mirza, Harbhajan Singh and Bhagyashree were among the other guests at the big fat wedding.

The pre-wedding ceremonies included Haldi, Sangeet and the mehendi ceremony. The bride ditched the elbow-long design for mehendi and opted for a minimalistic henna. For Sangeet and Haldi, she opted for pastel-coloured outfits with minimalist accessories to accentuate her look. The groom, on the other hand, also opted for decent yet classy monotone outfits for the wedding festivities.

Last week, the couple kickstarted the pre-wedding festivities in New Delhi. An ardas was held at Raghav's residence followed by a Sufi night at which several guests from politics were in attendance. The couple got engaged in May in Delhi’s Kapurthala house. Priyanka flew from Los Angeles to attend the ceremony.
