Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha wedding: Groom's baraat to arrive on boat, food menu out

After an intimate engagement ceremony, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are set to tie the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in Udaipur on September 24. The pre-wedding festivities began on Tuesday as their houses were lit with flights. Also, Parineeti’s mehendi started at the politician’s Delhi home today evening. The family and close friends have begun arriving at the venue. Several videos have been doing rounds on the internet offering a glimpse into the celebration.

As per the latest reports, the wedding preparations are also going on in full swing in Rajasthan. It is reportedly being said that the groom will take his baraat on the boat from Hotel Lake Palace to Hotel Leela Palace. As far as the food menu is concerned, the guests will be served both Punjabi and Rajasthani cuisine at the wedding. The wedding calendar is out revealing the time, date and venue of festivities.

Reportedly, the pre-wedding ceremonies kickstart on September 23 at the Leela Palace. It will begin with Choora rituals at 10 am onwards followed by a welcome lunch in the afternoon around 12-4 pm. The Sangeet ceremony will be hosted on the theme ‘Let’s party like it’s 90s’. On September 24, the groom’s Sehrabandhi ceremony will start at 1 pm which is themed-Threads of Blessings. It would be followed by Baraat at 2 pm onwards, and the grand wedding- Divine Promises – A Pearl White Indian Wedding. The Jaimala will start at 3 pm, the pheras at 4 pm and Vidaai at 6:30 pm according to reports.

The grand reception-‘A Night of Amore’is scheduled for September 30 in Chandigarh from 1 pm onwards according to the reception invite which went viral earlier this month. Meanwhile, Parineeti and Raghav got engaged in Delhi’s Kapurthala house in the presence of family and close friends in May this year. Workwise, Parineeti will next be seen in Mission Raniganj alongside Akshay Kumar. The film is set to hit screens on October 6, 2023.
