While Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha are set to tie the knot in Udaipur, their pre-wedding festivities already kickstarted in Delhi. It began with an ardaas and a traditional mehendi ceremony. Yesterday, Raghav's Delhi residence was all lit up and guests arrived for the celebration. Though neither bride nor groom shared pictures from their functions, a couple of photos made their way to the internet courtesy to the guests.
The photo that surfaced online shows Parineeti sitting beside Raghav and other guests for ardaas. She looked beautiful in a blush-pink suit which she styled with chandelier earrings and sequinned dupatta. The photo also gave a glimpse into Parineeti’s minimalist mehendi design. In another photo, Parineeti and her politician fiance can be seen posing with some guests. Raghav complemented Parineeti in a pink-beige outfit. The nuptial will take place on September 24 at Udaipur’s Hotel Leela Palace. Reportedly, the groom will arrive by boat for baraat from Hotel Lake Palace to Hotel Leela Palace. The pre-wedding festivities in Rajasthan will begin with Choora rituals followed by the Sangeet ceremony on September 23. At the grand wedding, the guests will reportedly be served both Punjabi and Rajasthani cuisine. Several politicians and renowned personalities are expected to attend the wedding. Parineeti’s cousin and global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas is likely to arrive with daughter Malti to grace the wedding.
Parineeti and Raghav exchanged rings in May at Delhi’s Kapurthala house in the presence of their loved ones. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former finance minister P Chidambaram, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray, among others, attended the star-studded ceremony. Meanwhile, workwise, Parineeti will next be seen in Mission Raniganj alongside Akshay Kumar. The film is set to arrive in theatres on October 6, 2023.
