Panchayat Season 4: Here's when Neena Gupta and Jitendra Kumar's series will go on floors; release details REVEALED

Jitendra Kumar and Neena Gupta starrer Panchayat is one of the most loved web series on OTT. After a successful run of seasons one, two, and three, the fans are eagerly anticipating the release of season four. Much to fans' delight, it is reported that season 4 of Panchayat will go on floors on October 25, 2024, and will be released in 2026.

Is panchayat season 4 in the making?

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the fourth season of Panchayat will go on floors in October 2024. The latest season will see the return of popular characters including- Jitendra Kumar (Abhishek Tripathi aka Sachiv ji), Raghubir Yadav (Brij Bhushan Dubey aka Pradhan Pati), Neena Gupta (Manju Devi), Faisal Malik (Prahlad), Chandan Roy (Vikas Shukla), Sanvikaa (Rinki), Durgesh Kumar (Bhushan), Ashok Pathak (Binod), Sunita Rajwar (Kranti Devi) and Pankaj Jha.

The report added that Swanand Kirkire who featured in one scene in season three will play a crucial role in season four. According to reports, season four will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2026.

The report added, “The makers are aware of the gigantic expectations from the Panchayat series. It’s a rare web show that is suitable for the whole family and hence, gets viewership from viewers of all ages. All seasons until now have been satisfactory and the makers have worked hard on the script of Season 4 to ensure that it’s loved by the fans.”

Earlier this year, during the promotions of Panchayat season three, director Deepak Kumar Mishra had told PTI that two more seasons of the web series are in the works and that the crew has begun pre-production of season four. “We have considered producing Seasons 4 and 5 thus far. We have a clear vision for Season 4 and a more expansive plan for Season 5,” Deepak said.

The first season of Panchayat was released in 2020 and instantly gained massive popularity. Due to its widespread popularity, the makers of Panchyat came up with its second season in 2022 while the third season was released earlier this year.

Helmed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, Panchayat stars Neena Gupta, Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, and Faisal Malik among others. The series revolves around Sachiv Ji played by Jitendra who works in a village called Phulera. How Abhishek copes with his new environment while preparing for his CAT exam forms the plotline of the series.
