Panchayat 3 - Is Jitendra Kumar getting paid MORE than Neena Gupta per episode? Here’s what we know

The much awaited third season of Panchayat has just got released today (May 28). Much to everyone’s happiness, the show’s makers have got back the original stars (read ‘pillars’) of the widely watched show. For the unversed, the ‘captains’ of the ship called Panchayat 3 include the veteran actors Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav, along with Sanvikaa and Chandan Roy. Above all, there is Jitendra Kumar aka the actor for all seasons and the actor for all reasons!

While the show has opened to mixed reviews on media as well as social media, a report has now surfaced which has ‘revealed’ the remuneration that the show’s cast is supposedly charging! If the available reports are anything to go by, then, it’s been said that the show’s lead actor Jitendra Kumar aka Jeetu happens to be the highest paid actor on the show! and onto a close second is reportedly the veteran actress Neena Gupta, as per a report in ABP Live.

The same report went on to elaborate that, while Jitendra Kumar was being paid Rs 70,000 per episode for his role of Abhishek Tripathi, Neena Gupta, on the other hand, (reportedly) gets paid Rs 50,000 per episode! If one has to calculate the aforementioned two actors’ payments for the entire season, then, it comes upto Rs. 5,60,000 for Jitendra Kumar and Rs. 4,00,000 for Neena Gupta for her role of Manju Devi.

And for all those who were wondering about the other veteran actor Raghubir Yadav, then, as per the aforementioned report, it states that, he gets paid around Rs. 40,000 per episode for his role of Pradhan ji, who happens to be Manju Devi’s husband. In that case, his total take home for the entire season stands around Rs. 3,20,000 for this season (season 3).

As for the series, it stars Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Neena Gupta, Jitendra Kumar and Raghubir Yadav amongst the other actors. 'Panchayat Season 3' is now streaming on Prime Video.
