Palak Tiwari calls herself a talker after statement about Salman Khan’s neckline rule makes headlines: ‘Made a mistake’
Palak Tiwari recently made headlines when she revealed that her Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan co-star Salman Khan had a ‘no low neckline’ rule for women on set
Shweta Tiwari’s beautiful daughter Palak Tiwari, who was earlier seen in Harrdy Sandhu’s Bijlee Bijlee music video, made her Bollywood debut last month with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The young star kid portrayed the role of Muskaan, the love interest of Jassie Gill’s character Moh, who was seen as superstar Salman Khan’s on-screen brother. But even before fans could review her acting skills, Palak made headlines when she revealed that Salman has a ‘no low neckline’ rule on set for all women. This was apparently when the actress was assisting director Mahesh Manjrekar on the set of Antim: The Final Truth.
Talking about how her words were taken in the wrong context, and the backlash that it received, Palak admitted that she made a mistake. She told ETimes, “All this is a part and parcel of what we do. Also, I'm not really taken aback, since I know Salman Sir is an extremely understanding individual and he knows that I would never say anything inappropriate about him. Not only that, I will count this as a learning experience, since I would never want to be in that position again.” She went on to add, “So yeah, I made a mistake, I learnt and it’s something I'll keep in mind for the rest of my life now. So that's all I take it as, a learning experience.”
Palak further called herself a 'talker' and explained that she has understood it’s not right to be too candid all the time. Soon after her statement made the news, Salman’s other co-stars Pooja Hegde and Shehnaaz Gill had rubbished the ‘no low neckline’ rule. Bollywood’s Bhaijaan, on the other hand, had defended himself by explaining that women’s bodies are precious and he believes they should be covered.
On the work front, Palak will next be seen in The Virgin Tree with Sanjay Dutt.
