Nawazuddin Siddiqui or Archana Puran Singh? Fans left hilariously confused with actor's look in Haddi

Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to his social media handle to release his unique first look from the movie Haddi . The actor can be seen playing presumably a transgender or a drag queen in the same and fans were left amazed by his feminine avatar. However, many fans were left confused about his stark resemblance to none other than The Kapil Sharma Show star Archana Puran Singh .

Talking about the same, Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared his first look from the movie sees him wearing a silver gown with heavy makeup, jewelry, and a wig. One can see him sitting on a sofa in the backdrop of a shady location which hints that his character might have something to do with crime. Sharing the same, Nawazuddin wrote, “Crime has never looked this good before. #Haddi, a noir revenge drama starring @Nawazuddin._siddiqui in a never-seen-before avatar. Filming begins, releasing in 2023.” Take a look at the promo.

However, fans soon started comparing his look to Archana Puran Singh and had some fun reactions to share. One of the fans stated, “I thought its Archana Puran Singh” while another one stated, “I thought Archana Puran Singh sitting, tremendously decked up.” A fan further wrote, “Why u didn't tag archana puran singh .. u forgot to tag her.” Another fan stated, “First I thought she was Archana Puran Singh.” A fan went on to say, “He looks like Archana Puran Singh in tks.” Well, we wonder what Archana Puran Singh will have to say about her resemblance to the Sacred Games actor’s look in Haddi.

The shooting for the movie Haddi has begun and it will be released next year in 2023. The film is produced by Zee Studios and Anandita Studios. The crime flick has been directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma and co-written by him and Adamya Bhalla.
