Nawazuddin Siddiqui Haddi
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to feature in the dual role of a woman and transgender in his upcoming movie Haddi. His first look has already created a lot of buzz among the audience. But not many know that his daughter got upset after she saw him dressed as a woman. Also, the experience of sitting for hours on the make-up chair has been an eye-opener for him.
In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Nawazuddin spoke about her transformation into a woman for his character. "My daughter was very upset when she saw me dressed as a woman. She now knows that it’s for a role and is fine now. I must say this, after this experience, I have huge respect for actresses who do this on a daily basis. Itna saara taam jhaam hota hai."
Furthermore, the Gangs of Wasseypur actor said that he now understands the toil of actresses in the make-up room. "Hair, make-up, kapde, nails... pura sansar leke chalna padta hai" (there are so many things, hair, make-up, clothes, nails…they take the whole world with them). Most recently, Rajpal Yadav played the role of a transgender in his movie Ardh.
