Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya and Made in Heaven actress Sobhita Dhulipala have been in the news for their alleged relationship for a couple of years now. While they never went public with their relationship, the rumoured couple is now making headlines for their engagement.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's engagement

According to major news reports, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to make their relationship official today, on August 8, 2024, through an engagement ceremony. Reports indicate that the couple plans to have a private engagement ceremony in Hyderabad. 

They also suggest that the first official photos of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita will be shared by Naga Chaitanya's father, actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, from the event that will be held at their home. However, an official confirmation from both Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita is still awaited.

Interestingly, the couple hasn't shared any photos together on social media, nor have they made it 'Insta official.' However, the lovebirds have often been spotted together, once while exploring London and enjoying a wine tasting session. 

Additionally, their fans have noticed that they often post pictures with similar backgrounds, leading many to believe they have been dating for a while.

Naga Chaitanya’s previous marriage

It is well known that the Thandel star was previously married to South Indian star Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They got divorced in 2021. They were once among the most loved pairs in the South Indian film industry, and their separation sent shockwaves. 

Notably, rumours about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita first surfaced after Chay’s separation from Samantha after their four-year-long marriage.

Sobhita Dhulipala’s take on love and 'Chai'

Although the Made in Heaven actress has remained silent about the alleged dating rumours with Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita recently stated in an interview, “I am always in love. Love is such a defining fuel. It’s probably the only thing that’s both a necessity and a luxury.” 

Interestingly, the actress had earlier shared a cryptic post that read, “I’m not everyone’s cup of chai, and that’s ok,” after pictures of her and Naga Chaitanya’s vacation surfaced on the internet.
