Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's wedding prep begins; bride-to-be drops PICS from Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam ceremony

Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya surprised everyone recently after they announced their engagement on social media. Now, the couple is all set to tie the knot soon. The wedding preps have already kickstarted and it looks like bride-to-be Sobhita is over the moon! On October 21, she took to social media and shared pictures from the Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam ceremony.

Taking to Instagram, Sobhita shared pictures from the Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam ceremony featuring her friends and family. She captioned the post, "Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam. And so it begins!”

For those unaware, Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam marks the decoration for a Pasupu Danchadam ceremony, a pre-wedding ritual that marks the start of wedding festivities. During the ceremony, the women of the house pound turmeric in a pestle, which is then stored for later functions. The house is then decorated for the ceremony, and guests are invited to participate.

The pictures feature Sobhita while performing the ritual and flaunting her wedding glow. She looks like a dream in an orange saree paired with an ivory-colored blouse. She completed her look with traditional accessories, a braided hairdo adorned with white flowers, and her million-dollar smile. Sobhita looks absolutely stunner in her desi attire. Have a look:

Soon after she shared the pictures, fans were seen appreciating her beauty and expressing their excitement for the couple's big day.

In August this year, Sobhita and Naga announced their engagement on social media by sharing pictures from the ceremony. The couple captioned the post, “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father, to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts, are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting. –From Kurunthogai, translated by A K Ramanujan." For the ceremony, Sobhita opted for a stunning orange saree while Naga looked dashing in a white coloured kurta and ivory-coloured dhoti.

On the work front, Sobhita last featured in Love, Sitara alongside actor Rajeev Siddhartha. Naga, on the other hand, was last seen in a period-action thriller film titled Custody.
