Munawar Faruqui got married for the second time? Here’s all you need to know

After his controversial Bigg Boss stint, comedian Munawar Faruqui is again making headlines due to his personal life. According to a report by Times Now, the Bigg Boss 17 winner has married makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala earlier this month and wants to keep the information under wraps.

Munawar Faruqui’s second marriage to Mehzabeen Coatwala

The report states that Munawar has tied the knot but wants to keep the information under wraps and that is why you won’t even find pictures of them together. The ceremony was an extremely close-knit function and was attended by the near and dear ones of the couple, as per the report.

Actress Hina Khan is reported to have attended Munawar’s wedding ceremony as she shared a picture of herself on her Instagram stories with a background song, “mere yaar ki shaadi hai.”

According to a social media page, Munawar tied the knot with makeup artist Mehzabeen two weeks ago and the wedding reception took place in Mumbai's ITC Grand Maratha on Sunday though there has been no confirmation from Munawar or Mehzabeen. This is reported to be Mehzabeen’s second marriage as well.

Munawar Faruqui’s controversial personal life

Munawar’s personal life grabbed headlines for the first time during his appearance at Kangana Ranaut-hosted show Lock Upp. During one episode when Kangana shared Munawar’s picture with a woman and a little boy, the comedian said that he does not want to talk about this on social media or a platform like Lock Upp. Munawar added that he wants to talk about it but not now as the couple has been separated for a year now and the case is in court.

During his appearance on Bigg Boss 17, the comedian revealed that his ex-wife is married, and he has custody of his son Mikhail.

Later, Munawar’s love affair with actress Ayesha Khan grabbed national attention when she entered the Bigg Boss house and confronted him about being in a relationship. The comedian had revealed on the reality television show that he was in a relationship with Nazila Sitaishi which turned out to be false when Ayesha revealed that the couple had broken up and Munawar was showing interest in her even before coming on Bigg Boss.
