Mouni Roy makes a statement with simple and elegant bridal looks from her mehendi, haldi and wedding

Mouni Roy got married to her long time boyfriend Suraj Nambiar in an intimate wedding ceremony in Goa on Thursday morning. The traditional Malayali wedding was preceded by a day of pre-wedding festivities and Mouni looked stunning and carefree in a stunning yellow outfit for her mehendi which is grabbing the attention of many.

The outfit with a backless choli with lots of tassels and beautiful embroidery on the front came from the collection of designer Payal Singhal. The use of tassels has been a trademark in Singhal’s latest designs and has found the fancy of quite a few celebrities in recent times while also having been trusted by Mouni for her special day.

Mouni mehendi outfit is from the Suroor collection of 2021 by Payal Singhal and the choli and lehnga are currently priced at Rs. 59,500 on the designer’s website for a black and white version of the newlywed’s yellow outfit.

The actress also set a statement with her simple yet stunning haldi outfit where she picked a white corset blouse with a golden lehenga and white dupata along with white floral jewelry.

The Bramhastra actress also wore a white and red silk Kasavu saree with golden brocade work on the border for the wedding which she elegantly paired with temple jewelry including mang teeka, choker, kamar bandh and bangles looking stunning and comfortable in her bridal avatar on Thursday morning.

Mouni’s refreshing wedding looks are getting a lot of love on social media as the actress looks both stunning and all too comfortable ditching the heavy bridal looks.

Suraj too set a statement looking simple in a kurta and mundu as the groom.

Mouni and Suraj have been together for a few years now and reportedly first met in Dubai. The actress has remained tight lipped about their relationship throughout their dating history and finally shared pictures with him on social media after their wedding this morning.
