Mommy-to-be Alia Bhatt shares a glimpse of her cozy Diwali celebration in bed; check it out

Last year on the occasion of Diwali, Alia Bhatt had shared a super cute photograph of her and beau Ranbir Kapoor . They looked madly in love as they smiled at each other while Ranbir held Alia in his arms. The Shamshera star opted for a blue kurta whereas his lady love looked ravishing in a matching Sabyasachi lehenga. Well, this year the happily married couple is celebrating their first Diwali after their wedding. So fans obviously expected to see pictures from their special celebration.

Much to our delight, Alia took to her official social media handle a while ago to extend Diwali wishes to her millions of fans. While the first slide is a throwback snap from last Diwali, the second is a glimpse of how the actress is celebrating the festival of lights this year-- in her cozy bed. This is because Alia is pregnant and her due date is reportedly in November. In the caption below, the Gangubai Kathiawadi star shared, “Happy Diwali from throwback me as current me is spending Diwali in bed love & light to all.”

Alia looks very cute in this post as she stares at her cat Edward while sticking her tongue out. On the work front, Ranbir and Alia are currently soaring high on the success of Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, which marked their first film together. The Ayan Mukerji directorial not only won hearts but also did wonderful work at the box office. Brahmāstra even beat The Kashmir Files and Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to emerge as the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see them together in part 2 and 3 of this planned trilogy.
