Mohanlal recently shared his experience of working on his upcoming film L360. Here's what the actor said in the BTS video from the sets of Tharun Moorthy’s film.

Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy’s upcoming film L360 (tentative title) is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films that Lalettan fans are eagerly waiting to watch on the big screen! Recently, the makers announced a short break from the shooting schedule. As part of the schedule break, the makers offered a glimpse from the shooting sets, with Mohanlal sharing his excitement about the project and how much it means to him.

In the new BTS video, Mohanlal says that despite being in the industry for 47 years, the upcoming film has been an exciting journey. “I have been in the movie industry for 47 years, and every film is a new experience for me. This film also excites me as much as my first film. I feel attached to some films that I have done; this movie is also one among them. It’s one among the films I hold close,” the actor said.
The video also featured the director Tharun Moorthy, heaping praise on the team for their continuous dedication. He said, “I thank all the crew of the movie who withstood all the weather conditions, especially rain." But Mohanlal quickly replied, "It is always raining only."
Shobana in L360
Iconic Malayalam actress Shobana is playing the female lead opposite Mohanlal. The actress is also making a return to Mollywood after a four-year hiatus.
Directed by Operation Java-fame director Tharun Moorthy, the upcoming film is scripted by KR Sunil and the director himself. The project is produced by M. Renjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media. Earlier reports stated that the upcoming film might be a revival of Benz Vasu, which the duo had initially planned to work on. For those unaware, Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy were originally slated to collaborate on Benz Vasu, a remake of the 1980 Malayalam film starring the legendary actor Jayan. However, the project was shelved due to undisclosed issues. But later, the makers confirmed that the actor-director pair is working on a completely new subject, not a reworked script of Benz Vasu.
L360 release buzz
According to the latest reports, the makers of the Mohanlal-starrer are eyeing an October release. Initially, the makers had planned for an Onam 2024 release. However, it looks like the makers are planning to push the release dates further. An official confirmation is expected to be issued soon.
