Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli - Ram Charan heaps praise on Netflix documentary, calls it a ‘perfect tribute to...’

Ever since Netflix released the much-awaited documentary Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli, celebrities have not stopped praising the incredible anecdotes captured by the makers about one of the greatest filmmakers in the country. For the unversed, the documentary features several artists and technicians speaking about the RRR director, delving deeper into the life and career of the man who redefined mainstream Indian cinema with his fantasy period dramas.

Ram Charan, who worked under Rajamouli’s direction in Magadheera and RRR, recently took to his social media pages to share his insights on the documentary. The actor was also featured in the documentary, where he spoke highly of the director and his experience working with him. 

In his social media post, the RRR actor wrote, “Rajamouli garu’s storytelling and dedication to his craft are truly inspiring. This documentary is a perfect tribute to his incredible career. @ssrajamouli @netflix_in”

The Magadheera actor had earlier in the documentary delved deeper into his experience of working with SS Rajamouli, revealing that he feels like a ‘third person’ when he watches Rajamouli’s films, even when he has starred in them. Ram Charan, who worked with the acclaimed filmmaker in Magadheera (2009) and RRR (2022), has always expressed his greatest regard for the director.

Ram Charan’s upcoming films

The actor is currently gearing up for his upcoming release Game Changer, which is directed by S Shankar. The post-production work is in full swing and the makers are yet to reveal the release date of the film, it is believed that the movie will hit the big screens in December 2024. 

Rajamouli, on the other hand, is currently prepping for his next big project—SSMB29, with actor Mahesh Babu. Currently in its scripting stage, the film is yet to be launched and is touted as an adventure drama.
