Mandira Bedi holds a 2-day prayer meeting for late husband Raj Kaushal, says 'be in peace and surrounded by love'

Mandira Bedi ’s husband and filmmaker Raj Kaushal had tragically passed away last year on June 30 owing to a heart attack. To mark his first death anniversary, Mandira held a 2-day prayer meeting and also shared pictures from the occasion. She also shared a heartfelt message for her late husband.

Talking about the same, Mandira Bedi shared some pictures from the prayer meeting and wrote, “2 days of prayer. And so much love for you, Raj. The skies cried today for you. As did we. And wherever you may be, may you be in peace and surrounded by love.” Take a look at the same.

Celebs like Saiyami Kher and Arjun Bijlani also poured in some love on the post. One of the fans wrote, “I think giving advice like" stay strong " to you is a bad idea as you always seemed to be stronger.” Apart from this, Mandira Bedi also shared pictures from a Langar which she had organized in Raj Kaushal’s memory.

The pictures have Mandira Bedi along with her kids Vir and Tara at the Gurdwara where they have organized the Langar. Mandira Bedi had yesterday (June 30) shared a heartwarming post wherein she had written, “365 days without you.” Raj Kaushal was 50 years of age at the time of his demise. The filmmaker was known for helming films like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Shaadi Ka Laddoo, Anthony Kaun Hai, and many more.

In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, Mandira Bedi had spoken about attending her close friend and actress Mouni Roy ’s wedding with Suraj Nambiar in the middle of a difficult phase in her life. The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress had revealed, “My life has gone through a lot in this last year and she is a very close friend of mine and for me that was me turning a corner because I have not been meeting too many people in the last little while. At Mouni’s wedding is when I just said, ‘you know what, 2022, new year, it’s her wedding and I went out there and I had to be present for her.”
