Malaika Arora opens up about attending Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding party post her accident

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt ’s wedding was the event of the year where the short guest list included their family members and closest friends from the industry. However, their wedding after party turned out to be a star-studded bash which saw superstar Shah Rukh Khan , Gauri Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Karan Johar amongst many others in attendance. Even Arjun Kapoor made a smashing entry with his lady love Malaika Arora , who made her first public appearance after meeting with a deadly accident.

In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Malaika opened up about the same. She explained that she is physically fit but her state of mind is still fragile. The actress was quoted saying, “There is fear, worry and anxiety. It takes cajoling to get me out, anywhere. In fact, it took some cajoling to attend Ranbir and Alia’s wedding bash. More than being in the car, seeing so many people around the car threw me off my game. Now, the minute I sit in a car, I put on the seatbelt, even if I am sitting in the back seat.”

While travelling from Pune to Mumbai after attending a fashion show, Malaika’s car lost balance and went on to bump into three other cars. She was rushed to the hospital as she had suffered minor injuries. The actress revealed that she was praying for her life as well as eye sight and was later told that she was constantly asking for her mother and son Arhaan post the accident.

Recently Malaika resumed work and walked the ramp at Bombay Times Fashion Week.
