Major box office day 6 collection: Adivi Sesh starrer witnesses a slight drop, moves towards Rs 50 crore mark slowly

Adivi Sesh starrer Major which was released on June 3 has witnessed a slight drop in its sixth-day box office collection despite opening up to favorable reviews from the fans and the critics. The film is moving towards the Rs 50 crore mark sluggishly. According to the early estimates, the biographical drama on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life has garnered Rs 2 crore on its sixth day.

Even though Major had seen a good opening at the box office of Rs 7 crore, it seems that that movie has seen a drop on its fifth and sixth day. According to a report by Sacnilk, the Adivi Sesh film has minted Rs 2 crore on its sixth day which is expected to take its total collections between Rs 43 to 45 crore. However, due to some more positive word-of-mouth, if the movie manages to increase its pace at the box office, it might enter the Rs 50 crore mark sooner.

The movie has managed to collect Rs 40 crore in just four days which is however a good sign. Adivi Sesh’s performance as Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan has also been garnering a positive response. Talking about the film’s fourth day box office collections, trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted, “Major is steady on Day 4 [Mon]... Multiplexes - especially at metros - are contributing to its biz... Eyes Rs 7.5 cr [+/-] total in *Week 1*... Fri 1.10 cr, Sat 1.51 cr, Sun 2.05 cr, Mon 85 lacs. Total: ? 5.51 cr. #India biz.
