    After dating for many years, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and businessman Salim Karim tied the knot at an intimate wedding ceremony at Pearl Continental Hotel Bhurban on Sunday. The inside photos and videos have left netizens obsessing over the bride’s beautiful lehenga and the couple’s adorable chemistry.

    Mahira’s manager Anushay Talha Kgan shared the beautiful wedding video which has been winning the internet. Mahira makes a stunning bride in a pastel lehenga with a long veil as she walks down the aisle. Emotional Salim, who wore a black Sherwami, wipes his tears as she walks towards him.     Another video is doing rounds on the internet which shows Mahira getting ready for her big day. She flaunts her exquisite lehenga reportedly designed by Faraz Manan. She twirls around in happiness before she walks down the aisle. After several speculations, Mahira confessed to dating Karim in 2020 and also spilt the beans about him during an Instagram Live with Hassan Sheheryar Yasin. The couple reportedly met at an event hosted by Tapmad TV in 2017 for the first time.

    For those unaware, Mahira was previously married to Pakistani actor Ali Askari. The two tied the knot in 2007 and welcomed their first child, Azlan R. However, the duo parted ways after eight years of marriage. In an old interview, Mahira revealed about her divorce saying, “The first few years were very painful because it was about two good people, it was not an abusive relationship. But it was like two kids had gotten married and sometimes two people evolve differently. There was a little bit of pressure to go back as well."

    Talking about Salim, he is the CEO and co-founder of a business called Simpaisa, an online payment facilitator. He is also a DJ. Meanwhile, workwise, Mahira was last seen in The Legend of Maula Jatt. She will next feature in the Netflix series Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, co-starring Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed.
