Mahesh Babu’s father Krishna suffers cardiac arrest, breathes his last in Hyderabad

Superstar Mahesh Babu ’s father and veteran actor Ghattamnaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy was rushed to the Continental Hospital in Hyderabad on Monday. He had suffered a heart attack and was undergoing treatment. Sources suggested that he was stable but was put on a ventilator. It breaks our heart to share that the veteran star and former politician has passed away at the age of 79. His health deteriorated and Krishna breathed his last in Hyderabad this morning.

Sharing the heartbreaking news on social media, PR and Marketing executive Vamsi Shekhar tweeted: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved superstar Krishna garu. We honour his life and the tremendous impact he had on cinema. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ghattamaneni family during this time of grief.” Not just fans but even celebs are devastated to hear that Krishna ji is no more.

Several netizens extended condolences to Mahesh and his family. South superstar Nani also paid tribute on Twitter by sharing a note which read: “SUPER STAR KRISHNA ⭐️End of an era. My deepest condolences to @urstrulyMahesh sir,family and Krishna Gaaru’s extended family which includes you,me and every telugu cinema fan. 💔.” This is a very difficult time for Mahesh as this is his third family member who bid adieu to the world this year. The superstar’s mother Indira Devi passed away 2 months ago after a prolonged illness while he lost his brother Ramesh Babu in January.
