Happy birthday, Mahesh Babu! On the special occasion of the Telugu superstar’s 49th birthday, his wife and former actress Namrata Shirodkar took to social media to pen a heartfelt note for her 'superstar'.

The sweet note has been receiving a lot of love on social media, with fans hailing the power couple and extending their warm wishes to their superstar on his birthday.

For the uninitiated, Namrarta and Mahesh met on the sets of their 2000 film Vamsi and began dating soon after. The couple got married on February 10, 2005, and welcomed their son Gautam in 2006, followed by a daughter, Sitara, in 2012.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu’s daughter, Sitara, took to her social media pages to share a sweet note for her ‘nanna’ (father). The young star kid, who enjoys a good fan following, shared a happy family picture of herself, her parents—Mahesh Babu and Namrata—and her brother Gautam, and wrote, “Happy Birthday, Nanna! I’m so grateful for all the little things you do to make me smile, from our little adventures together to just being there when we need you by our side. I hope today is filled with everything you love and more!! @urstrulymahesh.”

On the work front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in popular filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas’ action-drama Guntur Kaaram alongside Sreeleela. The actor is now gearing up to begin shooting for his project with acclaimed director SS Rajamouli, which is tentatively titled SSMB29. 

The film is the maiden collaboration between the actor and director. SSMB29 is set to be a two-part franchise and is touted to be an adventure film, with other details kept under wraps. An official announcement on the film is expected to drop soon.
