Maharagni teaser: Watch Kajol’s ruthless avatar in this thriller drama film

Kajol, Prabhudeva and Naseeruddin Shah have joined hands for an upcoming thriller film Maharagni, directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati. The makers of Maharagni recently unveiled the teaser of the film, showcasing the ruthless avatar of Kajol, who is here to teach a lesson and is not scared to beat the men around her.

Taking to Instagram, Kajol shared the teaser of her upcoming film, Maharagni. The caption read, “So kicked to share this with you guys .. #Maharagni.. aka Queen of queens. Take a moment and have fun! Hope u guys like it.”
The teaser begins with a man running away from a bunch of people at a private airport, while Prabhudeva’s voiceover plays in the background, saying, “Maut se zyada darawana pata hai kya hota hai, maut se pehle ki feeling. Or usse darawana pata hai kya hai?(Do you know what’s scarier than death, the feeling you get before dying and do you know what’s more scarier than that?).” The scene cuts to Prabhudeva coming out of an airplane, dressed in a white ensemble, and he then hits the man with a baseball bat.
Later, we see a young woman participating in a car race. In the background, a voiceover of Kajol says, “Sadiyo se bahot sabak seekh liye, ab sabak sikhane ki baari hain (have learnt a lot of lessons all my life, now its turn to teach a lesson).”
Later, two young girls sitting in a dark room are shown and a voiceover of Naseeruddin Shah says, “Har ma baap ka sapna hota hai ki jis aulad ne unki god mein pehli saans li ussi aulad ki god mein aakhri saans ho (Every parent thinks that the first child who took its first breath in your lap will extend his lap for their last breath).”
After Naseeruddin is seen lying in a hospital bed, the scene cuts to a colourful Durga puja celebration, where Kajol makes her entry and says, “Power maang ke nahi, cheen ke li jaati hai (Power is obtained not by asking but by stealing).” Dressed in a red ensemble, Kajol takes a gun and beats the men around her, showcasing her ruthless avatar.

This thrilling teaser quickly caught the attention of the netizens, who flooded the comment section and expressed their excitement for the upcoming film. One social media user wrote, “Woow I can't wait queen,” while another said, “Omg I can't wait to watch this of course your the Queen of Queen's.”
Starring Kajol, Prabhudeva, Naseeruddin Shah, Aditya Seal and Jisshu Sengupta, Maharagni is directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati. While the cinematography is handled by GK Vishnu, the music is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
