Maalik first look out: Rajkummar Rao steps into action mode, fans compare actor to Ranbir Kapoor in Animal

After the superlative success of Stree 2, actor Rajkummar Rao is on an all-time high. The actor, who has so far, enthralled the audiences with his ‘sweet performances and also comic timing is now all set to give his career graph a major makeover. Rajkummar Rao will now be seen in an out and out action thriller in the form of Maalik.

The super versatile Rajkummar Rao took to social media and announced his next film, which has been titled as Maalik. The actor took to social media and revealed the first look of the film. The actor was looking ‘fiercely stunning’. The Stree 2 actor was exuding ferociousness with his eyes. Rajkummar Rao, who was seen dressed in a folded shirt and trousers, was looking absolutely aggressive with a gun in his hand! The film Maalik has been aptly captioned as, ‘Paida nahi hue toh kya, Ban toh sakte hain’!

After posting the first look of the film, Rajkummar Rao captioned the post as, ‘#Maalik ki duniya mein aapka Swagat hai. In no time, fans and followers of the actor took to the comments section and poured out their comments which was nothing less than a truck loaded with compliments! Just as when people are loving you again and again with Stree 2, now they will love you further, more with Maalik’.

As for the film Maalik, while it has been directed by Pulkit (who had earlier directed Bhumi Pednekar in Bakshak), the film has been produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Films banner and Jay Shewakramani's Northern Lights Films. The release date of Maalik, is however, to be announced.
