‘Love never dies’: Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s fans react as they cross paths at Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2024

Once upon a time, Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were one of Bollywood’s most adored and madly in love couples. They dated for 5 long years and were pretty open about their relationship, making several public appearances together. But they eventually parted ways and moved on in life. Kareena tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan and welcomed two beautiful boys into the world. Meanwhile Shahid found love in Mira Rajput. The two are happily married and proud parents of Misha and Zain. But even today when they cross paths, fans can’t help but gush over the exes.

That’s exactly what happened last night at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024. In a clip from the event, which has now gone viral on social media, Shahid can be seen standing with his Farzi directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. on the red carpet. As they pose for the paparazzi, Kareena walks in. She stops for just a few seconds to greet only Raj, while Shahid stands beside him with a smile on his face. Many accused Bebo of ignoring her ex beau in this video. However, some netizens pointed out that she apparently turns to look back at Shahid at the end of the clip.

Shahid and Kareena’s fans are now showering the comment section with their own theories. For instance, one netizen shared, “She slightly looked back at him, ever so discretely, but making sure if he was checking her out. Is nature, humans can’t avoid curiosity in certain incidents”, whereas another hopeful fan wrote: “No matter Meera is more beautiful than Kareena but look into the eyes of Shahid how much love is there.
