Lokesh Kanagaraj reveals title of Leo 2! Can fans expect Thalapathy Vijay’s comeback from politics?

Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj enthralled audiences with the creation of the most talked-about cinematic universe—the LCU. The director’s last outing with Thalapathy Vijay, Leo, was a roaring hit, leaving fans eager to see the director-actor duo collaborate once again for a sequel. Although Vijay had previously announced his retirement from the film industry after his upcoming film Thalapathy 69 with director H. Vinoth, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj recently teased fans by hinting at a potential revival of a Leo sequel.

In a recent press meet, the director spoke at length about his future endeavors. When asked about plans for a Leo sequel, he responded by stating that if given the opportunity, he would proceed with the sequel. He also revealed that if the project materializes, he would title the sequel 'Parthiban' after Vijay’s character in the film.

This revelation has sent fans into a frenzy, as they eagerly await the project's development. However, the decision ultimately lies in the hands of Vijay, who will decide whether to continue his acting career or end it with Thalapathy 69 once and for all.

The director also disclosed that his upcoming production venture, Benz, which is headlined by actor Raghava Lawrence, will be part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and produced under Lokesh Kanagaraj’s banner, G Squad, in collaboration with Passion Studios and The Route production banners, the film is expected to feature other LCU characters making cameo appearances. This update has further excited fans, who can’t wait to see how the film unfolds.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently gearing up for his upcoming film Coolie, which will star superstar Rajinikanth. The film is currently in its post-production stage.
