Ranbir Kapoor faces legal complaint
It was earlier reported that a police complaint had been filed against actor Ranbir Kapoor for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. The complaint was filed by Sanjay Tiwari at Ghatkopar police station through his lawyers Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra on Wednesday (December 27). The reason is the actor chanting out ‘Jai Mata Di’ after lighting fire to a liquor-laden cake at the Kapoor Christmas lunch.
Now the netizens have also been reacting to the same. The majority of them have instead trolled and taken a jibe at the complainant. One of the netizens stated, “Seems people have less work and more time to go negative thing.” While another user said, “isse ye samjh ata hai ki -Kitna fokat ka time hai na logo ke paas.” A netizen went on to say, “People have turned to be so intolerant nowadays.” A user added, “Hahaha. This country is gone crazy . Too many unemployed, frustrated people. Get well soon.” A netizen said, “Ladke ke muh se jai mata di nikla uski khushi nahi hai? Hurt toh aise hote hai jaise khud daru nahi pite.”

However, there was one netizen who seemed to agree with the action taken against Ranbir. The netizen said, “Jai Mata di is not that word we can use to do such things like this.” A user again took a dig at the complainant saying, “Log kitne velle h yaar. Bus famous hona h Subko.” A netizen went on to add, “Velle log kya hi kar sakte hai. Unka Kam hi hai sirf complaint karna.” A user jokingly assumed that Ranbir’s complainant might not have liked his controversial film Animal. The comment said, “Lagta hai isko Animal pasand nhi aai. Jobless people akhand fursati insaan.”
On the work front, Ranbir’s recently released movie Animal had managed to rage a storm at the box office. He will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan essaying the titular role of Lord Ram. The movie will also star Sai Pallavi as Sita and KGF actor Yash as Ravan.
