Like Gandhi, you are immortal: Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn pen heartfelt note on PM Modi's 72nd birthday

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned a year older today, i.e September 17, Bollywood celebrities took to their respective social media handles to wish the iconic personality. From Kangana Ranaut to Akshay Kumar , the actors penned a special note hailing Modi’s inspiring leadership and blessing him with good health.

Kangana, who is busy shooting for her upcoming political drama, Emergency, took some time off from her busy schedule to wish Modi. She took to her Instagram stories, and shared a photo of herself with Modi, and called him immortal like Gandhi. "Happy birthday honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi. From selling tea on railway platforms as a child to becoming the most powerful man on this planet, what an incredible journey… we wish you a long, long life, but like Rama, like Krishna, Like Gandhi, you are immortal. Now etched forever in the conscious of this nation and beyond. You will love forever. Nothing can erase your legacy that’s why I call you an Avatar… blessed to have you as our leader," she wrote.

Akshay Kumar, who was recently seen in Cuttputli, dropped a picture with PM Modi. Alongside he wrote, "Your vision, your warmth, and your capacity to work…just some of the many things that I find deeply inspiring. Happy Birthday @narendramodi ji. Wish you health, happiness and a glorious year ahead." On the other hand, the Singham actor Ajay tweeted, “जन्मदिन की शुभकामनाये honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi , Your leadership inspires India and me. Wishing you good health and a great year ahead Sir @PMOIndia.”

While The Kashmir Files actor Anupam Kher shared a video of PM Modi to celebrate the day. "Respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji! Happy Birthday to you! May the Lord grant you a long and healthy life! You are trying your best to fulfill the responsibility of your oath! Will keep doing it for years! Thanks for your leadership!
