Day after the assassination of NCP leader Baba Siddique, members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have reportedly sent a message to Mumbai Traffic Police, issuing a fresh threat. The gang has reportedly demanded Rs 5 crore from Bollywood star Salman Khan 'to end the enmity' with the gangster. The message added that if the actor fails to comply with the conditions, he will face dire consequences, worse than that of his friend and politician Baba Siddique, who was shot dead in Mumbai recently.

'Lawrence Bishnoi demands Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan'

According to a tweet from ANI on X, the Mumbai Traffic Police received a message via WhatsApp that demanded Rs 5 crore from Bollywood star Salman Khan. The message added that the actor should comply if he wishes to ensure his safety and resolve the conflict with Lawrence Bishnoi. The message also warns of dire consequences, if the actor refuses to send out the money.

The message stated, "Don't take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan's condition will be worse than Baba Siddique.”

    Death threats to Salman Khan

Amid multiple death threats sent out to Salman Khan, the Navi Mumbai Police found that Lawrence Bishnoi had allegedly paid Rs 25 lakh to assassins to harm the star near his farmhouse in Panvel. The information came to light when the police investigated the firing incident that happened outside Salman’s house in April. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang had taken responsibility for the attack.

For those unaware, a few days ago, Salman’s friend and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique was shot dead by three assailants outside his son’s office in Bandra. Upon hearing the news, Salman canceled his shoot for Bigg Boss and went to the hospital to extend condolences to the grieving family. A member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the attack and sent a message for Salman on Facebook which stated, “anyone who helps Salman Khan or the Dawood gang should be prepared.”

Since the threat, the security for Salman has been increased and surveillance has been beefed up outside his house, Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai.
