Lalit Modi gives out cryptic advice to Ranveer Singh: Remember no freebies to big producers

When Lalit Modi announced that he is dating former Miss Universe and actress Sushmita Sen , Ranveer Singh was among the first to share his reaction. He dropped a red heart and an evil eye emoji in the comment section of the former IPL chairman’s announcement post. In the latest development, the businessman has left a thank you note which also includes cryptic advice for the actor.

Sharing a news article about Ranveer’s reaction to his post, Lalit tweeted, “Thank you for your kind wishes my brother. I am sorry no #ipl now. But as I said take the time out and do what you desire. Rest will come. See you when next in Europe. Big hug two both. Remember (laughing and cash emojis) no freebies to big producers. People watch you not then." For the unversed, Lalit on Thursday took to Instagram to share a slew of intimate pictures with Sushmita from their vacation and made his relationship with the actress official. Soon he also clarified that they are 'just dating' and not married. On the other hand, Sushmita shared pictures with her daughters-Aliseh and Renee and an excerpt from her post read, “I am in a happy place!!! NOT MARRIED…NO RINGS…Unconditionally surrounded by love!!”

Earlier in the day, Lalit addressed trolls who slammed him for dating Sushmita and also using a parody account of the actress to make the announcement. He also rubbished the rumours about his late wife Minal Modi and her relationship with his mother. Further, he went on to justify his fugitive status. “Why is the media so obsessed about trolling me apparently for wrongly tagging. Can someone explain - I only did (shared) two pics on Instagram and tag (the tagging) is correct. I guess we are still living in the Middle Ages that two people can’t be friends and then if chemistry is right and timing is good - magic can happen…” he had written. Read the full post here:
