While sources have confirmed that Malayalam stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sharaf U Dheen are part of Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s highly anticipated film, many fans have been wondering what roles the actors will play. While it was reported earlier that the actors from Lucifer will be reprising their roles in the sequel, L2: Empuraan, there is a chance they could be playing prominent new characters. Given that Suraj Venjaramoodu has played serious roles in the recent past, it is safe to assume that the Malayalam actor could be cast as a grey character in the Mohanlal-starrer. Nonetheless, an official update from the team is awaited.
