Producer and film critic Kamaal R Khan was recently granted bail in two legal cases. One of them was the 2020 case involving his controversial tweets about Akshay Kumar and Ram Gopal Verma, and another of a molestation case in the year 2021. He had shared a cryptic tweet about exacting revenge as soon as he was granted bail. But now his latest post had some other story to tell.
Yes, you heard it right. Kamaal R Khan went on to delete his previous tweet and changed the tides completely in his latest one. The Deshdrohi actor said he is safe back home and doesn’t want to get revenge on anyone. KRK ’s recent tweet read, “Media is creating new stories. I am back and safe at my home. I don’t need any revenge from anyone. I have forgotten whatever bad thing happened with me. I believe, it was written in my destiny.” Take a look at the tweet.
Talking about Kamaal R Khan’s previous tweet, it read, “I am back for my vengeance.” This had made netizens wonder whether the producer-film critic will target those from the industry who were allegedly responsible for his arrest. For the unversed, KRK was arrested in connection with tweets that allegedly had been communal in nature. He defended himself by stating that his comments were only meant for Akshay’s movie title Laxmii Bomb as a critic. However, a case was registered against him in the year 2020 under various Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections, including 153 (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot) and 500 (punishment for defamation), and provisions of the Information Technology Act.
