Kriti Sanon wishes she had a date on the red carpet, but here’s why that didn’t happen

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon is touching heights in her professional life. She has slowly but steadily emerged to be one of the top heroines of the country and has proven her versatility time and again with films like Luka Chuppi, Bareilly Ki Barfi and the latest of the lot, Mimi. But she has never spoken much about her personal life and relationships. There was a time when she was linked to her Raabta co-star Sushant Singh Rajput, but the two actors never confirmed their rumored relationship.

Well, last night at Wolf777news Filmfare Awards 2022, Kriti won the award for Best Actor for her spectacular performance in Mimi. Talking about the same with ETimes, she shared, “I started thinking of becoming an actor after I got my debut and everything, of being nominated in the Best Actor category, and it has happened this time after 8 years. I am really looking forward to it and just very excited about the moment.”

When asked to choose one person from the industry whom she would have liked to have as her date on the red carpet, Kriti replied, “I wish I had one, he would have been here. I don't know. Who is single right now? There are no single men.” Well, we hope the single boys of Tinsel Town are listening! Interestingly, in the promo of Koffee With Karan 7’s upcoming episode, chat show host and filmmaker Karan Johar asked Kriti if she was upset that her Heropanti co-star Tiger Shroff never made an advance on her. To this, Tiger replied, “She was already taken.” Well, the two are now single. Wink!

On the movie front, Kriti has an exciting line up of films including Ganapath with Tiger, Bhediya co-starring Varun Dhawan, Om Raut’s Adipurush and Shehzada which reunites her with Kartik Aaryan. We wish her only the best!
