Kriti Sanon reveals her & Vicky Kaushal’s ritual of sitting together at award functions post their win at IIFA 2022

The prestigious 22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), which was held at Abu Dhabi this year, was attended by many well-known actors of the Bollywood industry. It was a star studded event hosted by superstar Salman Khan , the talented Riteish Deshmukh and the entertaining Manish Paul. Well, it was a special night for all the attendees but it was exceptionally magical for two actors who got their due for winning us over with their versatility and phenomenal performances-- Kriti Sanon and Vicky Kaushal .

While Vicky was honored with the Best Actor award for his work in Sardar Udham , Kriti won her very first Best Actress trophy for her performance in Laxman Utekar’s Mimi. After spending enough time with their well-deserved trophies, the two shared posts expressing their gratitude on social media yesterday. Well, today Kriti took to her official handle to congratulate her fellow winner. She shared a snap of them sitting together at IIFA 2022 with the message, “Continuing our ritual of sitting together at award functions And this time taking a step forward by winning together too!! Woohhoooo! Congrats @vickykaushal09.”

Vicky reposted the same on his Instagram story and replied, “Hahaha congratulations to you too @kritisanon.” On the movie front, Vicky has already completed several projects such as Govinda Naam Mera and The Great Indian Family. Meanwhile, Kriti is busy shooting for Ganapath with Tiger Shroff and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo ’s Hindi remake Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan .

We wish them many more trophies in the coming years as we wait to see them shine on-screen again!
