Kriti Sanon calls out Varun Dhawan as he tries to win over Shraddha Kapoor in Khoobsurat song - ‘Stree no. 2 in ur life..’

Varun Dhawan will make a cameo performance as his character Bhediya in Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-starrer Stree 2. The makers of Stree 2 have released the film’s new song titled Khoobsurat, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. Speaking about Varun’s cameo in the film, the actor’s Bhediya co-star Kriti Sanon said that he has got 'Stree 2 in his life'.

Sharing an edited video of Varun’s song with Shraddha on her Instagram stories, Kriti wrote, “Hahahhahaa.. see, that Haveli is where I got bitten! But I think you’ve forgotten who bit you on the bum! Dhokebaaz! Stree no. 2 in ur life haan!”

For those unaware, Kriti starred alongside Varun Dhawan in Maddock’s Bhediya, released in 2022. The film, helmed by Amar Kaushik, featured Deepak Dobriyal and Saurabh Shukla, among others in supporting roles. In the film, Varun gets bitten by a wolf and starts transforming into the creature.

The makers of Stree 2 recently released the film’s new song Khoobsurat, featuring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. Composed by the duo Sachin-Jigar, Khoobsurat is sung by Vishal Mishra and the lyrics of the song have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. In the music video, Rajkummar’s Vicky and Varun’s Bhediya are seen competing to win over Shraddha.

Stree 2 Cast

Helmed by Jayprad Desai, Stree 2 boasts of an ensemble cast comprising Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande, the movie is presented by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan. The film will be releasing in theatres on August 15, 2024. It will be clashing with two other films at the box office, Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa.

Apart from Varun, actress Tamannaah Bhatia also has a cameo as Shama in the song Aaj Ki Raat, which is an energetic dance number.

Stree 2 is a part of Maddock’s horror comedy universe and will have cameos by Varun and Tamannaah.
