Koffee With Karan 8: Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday address dating rumours; latter says ‘Aashiqui aise hi hoti hai’

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh opened Koffee With Karan season 8 with their never seen before wedding video and sizzling chemistry, which set high couple goals. They were followed by star siblings Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol, who spoke about their recent successes as well as nepotism. Well, a few days ago filmmaker and beloved chat show host Karan Johar unveiled his majestic guest list for the rest of the season with a special trailer. The biggest headline makers were Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, who indirectly confirmed latter’s blossoming romance with Aditya Roy Kapur.

When asked about the one thing that Ananya has and she doesn’t, Sara responded: “A night manager.” Hearing this, Ananya had stated: “I’m feeling very Ananya Coy Kapur.” Well, much to our delight, KJo has now given us yet another sneak peek of this particular episode with a full fledged teaser. He begins by calling the girls ‘highly inflammable’ before revealing that they have common exes. Up next, Ananya excitedly says: “Let’s address the Liger in the room.” But sadly, Sara refused to do so. For the uninitiated, Liger star Vijay Deverakonda was a hot topic last season when Sara shared the coffee couch with Janhvi Kapoor.

When asked about alleged dating rumours about her and cricketer Shubman Gill, Sara clarified that the whole world is talking about the wrong Sara. Well, the confusion is justified since Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter’s name is also Sara. Wink wink! Up next when KJo talks about The Night Manager and asks Ananya how she is managing her nights, the Student of the Year 2 star coyly replies ‘Aashiqui aise hi hoti hai’, referring to Aditya’s blockbuster hit film Aashiqui 2.
