Koffee With Karan 7: Gauri Khan breaks silence on Aryan Khan's drug case; says 'We've been through a lot, nothing can be worse'

This week’s Koffee With Karan 7 episode saw Gauri Khan along with Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey grace the show. The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives star cast shared some fun banter with Karan Johar. However, Gauri also opened up about the difficult phase that her family faced last year in October after her son Aryan Khan was arrested in an alleged drug case.

Talking about the same, Aryan Khan was arrested along with a few others at the beginning of October 2021 after drugs were found aboard the Cordelia cruise ship where the star kid was partying. His bail was continuously denied and Aryan had to spend almost the entire month of October in jail which was a huge ordeal for his parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. He finally was released from prison at the end of October and got a clean chit on the case in June this year.

Speaking about the same, Gauri Khan told Karan Johar, “As a family, we have been through a lot. I mean, nothing can be worse than what we have been through – as a mother, as a parent. But today where we all stand as a family – I can say that we are in a great space where we feel loved by everyone. All our friends, and so many people whom we didn’t know – so many messages and so much of love. And I just feel blessed, I think today we feel blessed. And I would say I’m grateful to all the people who have helped us through this.”

Karan Johar also chimed in by saying that the entire nation’s prayers were with Aryan Khan during this tumultuous time. Aryan was also granted the return of his passport by the court registry after he had filed a plea for the same. It has been reported that the star kid is now focusing on work and might be writing a script for a web show aimed to be released on a prominent OTT platform.
