The latest episode of Koffee With Karan 7 saw Kareena Kapoor Khan and her Laal Singh Chaddha co-star Aamir Khan grace the couch. The episode dropped early for the world to see during which a statement made by Kareena in her rapid-fire round might have surely made some heads turn. Yes, we are talking about the question that involved her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor .
Talking about the same, Karan Johar had decided to further spice up Kareena Kapoor Khan’s rapid-fire round since the actress was giving little lukewarm answers. The director-producer then asked the actress, ‘Who will not be invited to Ranbir Kapoor’s party?’ to which Kareena said, “I don’t know.” Well, clearly KJo wasn’t amused and soon asked Kareena, ‘Who will not be invited to Shahid Kapoor’s party?’ which was certainly an interesting question.
On this, Kareena Kapoor Khan sporting a visibly nervous expression, replied, “Me, I guess.” The reply left Karan Johar in splits and had to be the most unmissable reply made by the Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actress. However, KJo called Kareena and Aamir’s rapid-fire round to be one of the most boring ones in the history of his chat show.
Meanwhile, talking about Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor, the former couple dated for almost 4 to 5 years before parting ways in the year 2007. The two were also a hit-onscreen pair and had delivered many successful films together. However, now Shahid and Kareena are happily married to their respective partners, Mira Rajput and Saif Ali Khan respectively, and are also doting parents to their kids.
In an earlier 2021 interview with Koimoi, Shahid Kapoor had spoken about his breakup with Kareena Kapoor Khan wherein he had said, “Breaking up with Kareena was tough, it did hurt. But as an actor, I have never let anything come in the way of my work. I have always given my best. I will. I have said this right from the time ‘the breakup’ happened that if a good movie comes and the director tells me that no one else except Kareena will suit a certain role, then I have no right to say that I won’t do the film. In fact, if my director will ask me to romance a cow or a buffalo, I will do that. It’s my job.” The two were last seen in the 2016 film Udta Punjab.
