KK's soulful songs which will be forever etched in the hearts of every music lover

In a news that has shocked the entire film and music fraternity as well as millions of music enthusiasts, veteran singer KK passed away at the age of 53 owing to a heart attack after he performed at a concert in Kolkata on Tuesday (May 31). The singer’s health had deteriorated at his hotel after he had wrapped up his concert at Nazrul Manch but even though he was rushed to the CMRI Hospital post that, he was pronounced dead on reaching there. The song was beautifully crooned by KK and was composed by Vishal and Shekhar. The lyrics were penned by Vishal Dadlani. The track is one of the most adored songs of the late singer from Jhankaar Beats starring Juhi Chawla , Sanjay Suri, Rahul Bose and others.

Tu Hi Meri Shab ( Gangster - 2006)

The song was composed by Pritam. KK had crooned the delightful song along with Abhijit, Kavita Seth, Sunidhi Chauhan, and others. The track was from the movie Gangster which starred Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut , and Shiney Ahuja in the lead roles.

Ankhon Main Teri ( Om Shanti Om- 2007)

Tadap Tadap ( Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam - 1999)

It was only possible for KK to bring in so much pain, depth, and pathos in this heartbreak song. It was composed by Ismail Darbar. It was from the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan , and Ajay Devgn in the lead roles.

Zindagi Do Pal ( Kites - 2010)

The song still transforms every music lover into a feel-good trance and remains one of KK’s cult works. The song was from the 2010 film Kites. It featured Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori.
