Kichha Sudeep gets emotional as he mourns the loss of his 'true God' and mother Saroja Sanjeev: 'Everything changed in just 24 hours'

Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep faced one of the biggest nightmares of his life, as his 86-year-old mother, Saroja Sanjeev,  passed away on October 20. Reportedly, she was battling age-related ailments for quite some time. The actor, who had always shared a close bond with his mother, was deeply shaken by the news and was seen breaking down inconsolably at the funeral.

The actor has now taken to social media to address the grief he has been going through and shared an emotional note, remembering his late mother.

Kichha Sudeep calls his mother his 'no 1 fan'

In his note, he described his mother as "the most unbiased, loving, forgiving, caring, and giving" person in his life, who was also his biggest cheerleader. He wrote, “My mother, the most unbiased, loving, forgiving, caring, and giving person in my life, was valued, celebrated, and will always be cherished. Valued... because she was my true god next to me in the form of a human. Celebrated... because she was my festival, my teacher, my true well-wisher, and my first fan, who even loved the worst of my work. Cherished... because she is just a beautiful memory now. I have no words to express the pain I feel right now. I'm unable to accept the void or come to terms with what has happened. Everything changed in just 24 hours.”

He recounted his daily routine of receiving a morning text from her and how, on the day of her hospitalization, for the first time, he didn’t receive her message. It was only when he was on the sets of his work that he received the heartbreaking news that she was in critical condition. Despite hurrying to the hospital, he wasn’t able to see her awake before she passed away.

The note further read, “I couldn't see my mother while she was still conscious. She did put up a fight before she gave in on Sunday early morning." Reflecting on her sudden passing, he said, “Everything... just about everything changed in a few hours.”

In his closing statement, the actor bid goodbye to his late mother and wrote, "My mother... the most precious pearl of my life is gone. I'm sure she has reached a place filled with peace. Rest well, Amma. I love you, and I miss you terribly, Deepu."

Kannada film industry mourns the demise of Kiccha Sudeep's mother

Sudeep, who has always shared fond memories of his parents, especially his mother, was heartbroken by the loss. Many celebrities from the Kannada film industry, including Rakshit Shetty and Rishab Shetty, came forward to offer their condolences to the actor during this difficult time. Fans and well-wishers also joined in to support him.

Saroja Sanjeev was battling age-related ailments when she breathed her last at 86. She had been admitted to Bengaluru's Apollo Hospital, where she passed away. Her last rites were performed at Sudeep's residence in JP Nagar, Bengaluru.
