Kiccha Sudeep’s mother passes away at 86; Rishab Shetty and more offer condolences

Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep's mother, Saroja Sanjeev, passed away today, October 20, 2024, due to age-related ailments. The actor's mother had been admitted to Bengaluru's Apollo Hospital, where she breathed her last. According to the latest reports, she had been suffering from age-related complications for some time and was undergoing treatment. However, Saroja was unable to recover and passed away this morning at 7 a.m. at the age of 86.

Saroja's last rites will be performed at Sudeep's residence in JP Nagar at noon today.

Following the news of Saroja's passing, many people offered their condolences and shared tributes online. DK Shivakumar, the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, posted a photo of Kiccha Sudeep with his mother, stating, "I pray that the departed soul rests in eternal peace, and may the Lord provide Sudeep and his family with the strength to endure this loss."

National Award-winning actor and Kannada star Rishab Shetty also took to social media to express his condolences to the actor during this difficult time. He wrote, "My deepest condolences to you, @KicchaSudeep Sir, on the loss of your beloved mother. May her soul rest in peace, and may you and your family find strength and comfort during this difficult time."

Other Kannada stars including Raghavendra Rajkumar,  Yuva Rajkumar, and Vinay Rajkumar reached Kiccha Sudeep's residence after hearing the shocking demise of the actor's mother.

Kiccha Sudeep recently announced his departure from Bigg Boss Kannada, stating that the 11th season will be his last as the host. The actor is awaiting the release of his long-anticipated film Max, which has yet to confirm a release date.
